NEW DELHI: The All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) has urged all colleges to spread awareness about cybercrime and the steps taken by the central government to deal with the crime.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has implemented the “Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center (14C) Scheme” with the objective of providing an effective mechanism to combat and integrate cybercrime. “National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal” cybercrime.gov.in has been launched to report all types of cybercrimes, especially against women and children.

It was suggested that the “Cybcr Jagrookta Diwas” be celebrated on October 6, 2022, as the government wants to motivate college students in the fight against cybercrime.
